In 2000 the department received a grant from the US Department of Justice, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to establish the Northern NH ICAC Investigative Satellite.
The satellite is made up of the New London Police Department, the Lincoln Police Department and the Carroll County Sheriff's Office. This was in response to Internet Crimes Against Children and other computer related crimes here in New London.
This grant paid for the equipment to conduct these types of investigations. Primarily allowing the department to respond immediately to cases here in our community. Today we are part of the Northern New England ICAC Task Force.
